• Special purpose pipe tap, appropriate for threading a wide variety of materisl both ferrous and non-ferrous where chip disposal is a problem.
• The first few threads on an Interrupted Thread Pipe Tap are full
• The balance of the threads are interrupted to reduce drag while taper pipe threading
• These pipe taps are standard having an odd number of flutes.
